John was elected to the board in 2010.  He currently serves on the Judicial Committee, Land Use & Development Committee, and Public Health & Safety Committee.

As a native and life-long resident of Plainfield, Argoudelis was raised on a family farm and graduated from Plainfield High School in 1982. He went on to earn a law degree from the University of Illinois’s College of Law in 1989 and has practiced law for over two decades, opening his own Plainfield-based firm in 2005. He was also elected Plainfield Township Supervisor in 2002 and has served in that post since then.

John is actively involved in the community as a member of the Plainfield Historical Society committee, Board of Directors for First Community Bank of Plainfield, All Saints Greek Orthodox Church of Joliet, and serves as a precinct committeeman. He has been married to his wife Maria for 17 years. They have two children, Elena and Alek.
