JOLIET, IL – The Will County Board today applauded the passage of legislation that allows it to impose and collect court fees to help pay for new judicial facilities. The Illinois Senate passed HB5889 yesterday on a 46-7 vote, following the House's passage last week. Preliminary design work for the facilities could begin as soon as next month.
